Not only is there no trail of identity but there is also no genealogical verification of family relatives, alive or dead, a paper trail of bills, insurance or pension documents, drivers licence and bank statements, handwriting and signature to other authentic documents. There is also no proof that there was a landline installed to the ranch and that the 911 calls came from that landline. The Police Report case number clearly does not tally (beginning 93) with the year of investigation, 1994.įurthermore, more details would have been revealed by the police of the three 911 calls and it is difficult to see how the phone line could have been kept active for three years or more without any trace of calls made to or from the number. The three 911 calls made on 27th February 1994 are bogus, as indeed is the idea that there was a police investigation and a subsequent paranormal investigation. ![]() The two photos are generally not thought to be of either Olivia Mabel or Aiden Mabel but of ‘actors’ for the sole purposes of virally marketing the story over the internet. The aspect of the story about a boy drowning in a pond at the ranch is likely entirely fictitious, given that the so-named ranch does not exist nor indeed a pond on its acreage. The copy circulated on the internet purporting to be the death certificate of Aiden Mabel from March 1990 does not appear to be authentic. In fact, there are only a few documents which attempt to give the story any credibility at all, a photo of Olivia Mabel herself and her son Aiden, a photo of the ranch, Aiden’s death certificate and an extract of the Police Report quoting case number 93050666.įirst of all, there are no birth, marriage, divorce or death records which can be traced to Travis Mabel, Olivia Mabel or the boy Aiden Mabel. What we are supposing is that Christopher Hagen is a real person and has a connection to the story but that there is no ranch called Footlights Ranch in Celina Texas and that the photo purporting to be the ranch is being used for marketing purposes of the story. There are many reasons to discredit and debunk the story as being untrue. There is a Christopher Hagen listed online as an actor and he might have something to do with it or he might not. ![]() ![]() The ranch owner may well be Christopher Hagen and he may well have owned it for twenty five years at least. Nobody has ever verified that the ranch featured in the only picture circulated online is Footlights Ranch, that it is located in Celina or that it is currently owned by Christopher Hagen. Not only is the entirety of the story untrue but the people referred to in the story such as the three Mabel family members, Francisca Santiago, Terry Goldscher, Jackson Rhoton Earl and Drew Navarro, do not exist either. According to the Death Certificate for Aiden, funeral arrangements were made by Jackson Rhoton Earl. A subsequent owner of the property, Christopher Hagen, called in a paranormal investigator named Drew Navarro in 2005. Terry Goldscher also participated in a law enforcement investigation at some point. Whether that was meant to infer hours, days, weeks or months, we simply do not know.įrancisca Santiago was the first investigative police officer on the scene. One of those hand-written letters was dated 27th February 1994, yet Olivia Mabel was believed to have been dead for quite sometime. ![]() The police responded to the three emergency calls, forced entry into the ranch building and found Olivia Mabel deceased in what was Aiden’s bedroom, sitting in a rocking chair in a nightdress and slippers with a rudimentary shrine of things including hand written letters before her. On 27th February 1994, at around 9.30pm, three silent 911 calls were received which were traced to be the Footlights Ranch. The last time anyone saw Olivia alive was supposedly September 1991. Travis relocated to New England and remarried while Olivia continued to live at the ranch. In March 1990, when the boy was seven, he drowned in a pond.Ī year later, in 1991, the young couple divorced. Travis and Olivia Mabel lived at the remote Footlights Ranch in Celina Texas with their young son Aiden. The untrue story of Olivia Mabel is this.Ĭelina is a small but developing town currently of about 20,000 people about 40 miles north of Dallas in Collin County, Dallas State. Only $2,500 was raised, the project failed and the film has never been made. The story of Olivia Mabel originated in 2016 as a result of a piece of viral marketing generated by a company called Elftree Media from California.įour individuals, Martyn Eaden, Ian McNeny, Joe Martinez and Shelby Cook engineered a project to raise $10,000 on the Kickstarter internet platform in an effort to produce a tulpa-related horror feature film.
